Naomi Achus is originally from Winnipeg, MB and relocated to Alberta in 1996. She started with the Government of Alberta in 2008 and has held roles across four departments including infrastructure, agriculture, health and environment and parks. Naomi has been able to apply her skills in policy development, legislation and regulations, strategic and business planning, operational planning and project and change management. She has also managed business operations at the School of Public Policy at the University of Calgary. She currently works as a program manager at the Alberta Energy Regulator.
Naomi has served as the Board Chair of the Chappelle Community League and as a Director on the board of the Edmonton Social Planning Council. Naomi has a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) in Political Science with a specialization in Public Policy from York University. She also received a Master of Arts Degree in Political Science from McMaster University, and both a Project Management Professional (PMP) and Prosci Change Management certifications.
