DOUGLAS RASBERRY (previously a director 2015-2020)

Born in Ontario, Doug moved to Alberta with his wife and family in 1978 to open a family business, called Mothers Pizza Parlour. After 10 successful years in the pizza business Doug left the family business and went on to be an owner operator in many successful iconic restaurants and bars throughout western Canada. These include Denny Andrews American Bar, The Back Alley Nite Club, Morgan’s Pub, Ranchmans Cookhouse and Dance Hall, Petite Bistro to name a few. Doug also spent 3 years in the public sector as President and COO of HR Cafe (owned Hard Rock Cafes in western Canada) Currently retired, he is excited to assist SASS achieve its goals.
