The Society for Autism Support and Services (SASS), was founded in 1972. We have expanded to offer a diverse range of programs. We provide early neurodivergency intervention and ECS programs, out-of-home living placements, school-aged services, adolescent and adult vocational training, life skills training and counselling services.
As Calgary’s oldest provider of autism services, SASS is dedicated to helping individuals across the autism spectrum and their families achieve positive outcomes and meaningful progress.
We deliver individualized, multidisciplinary, and evidence-informed services with compassion and professionalism. We are unique in that we provide support and services across the autism spectrum and across the lifespan, from toddlers through adulthood.
We deliver innovative, personalized solutions that empower autistic individuals across the lifespan; promoting independence, community access, and
success.

Making a Difference Having Fun
SASS is a large multi-disciplinary team of psychologists, behavioural consultants, speech and language pathologists, occupational therapists, teachers, early intervention therapists, behavioural therapists, adolescent and adult facilitators, program supervisors and managers who provide a range of services across ages and across the autism spectrum. We believe in people with autism and know the benefits that tested and scientifically proven supports and services can bring.
We know what parents go through when they receive a diagnosis of autism. The emotions can be overwhelming, and the system frustratingly difficult to understand.
Our support can start immediately after diagnosis, or later in life. With consultation and a plan, we support parents and individuals in navigating the system, identifying resources, and addressing their needs.
