The A-SASS-INS Are Back!
The Society for Autism Support and Services’ Dragon Boat Team, The A-SASS-INS, will be back on the water and taking part in the 2026 Calgary Dragon Boat Race and Festival August 8th and 9th at the Glenmore Reservoir.
The A-SASS-INS will be selling raffle tickets in support of fundraising for a toddler scholarship!
Raffle Details:
Grand Prize: $1,000 Walmart Gift Card AND $1,000 Petro Canada Gas Card
Second Prize: $500 WestJet Gift Card

A Toddler Scholarship will help a family of a newly diagnosed child with autism under the age of 3. The toddler program emphasizes active engagement, social communication, and skill development within daily routines, with support from a multidisciplinary team including a speech-language pathologist, occupational therapist, clinical assistant, and social worker. This program does not receive any government funding. SASS solicits funding opportunities from donors, corporations and other granting partners.
